System interruption

My sites are LIVE now.

Thanks FA Team and Obj for the hard work.

mine too - but where is data they received the last 10 hours ???

Stats are now live (though missing 11 hours of data) and my “Longest Streak” has ended. :frowning:

Now showing Log info. Guess we are halfway there.

I had to restart the PiAware service using

sudo service piaware restart

Mine is back also and my longest streak has been preserved.

Data Feed: Live - less than a minute ago
Feeder Check-in: Live - less than a minute ago
Joined: 04-Apr-2015
Longest Streak: 200 days (04-Apr-2015 - 20-Oct-2015)

The log is also visible.

Hopefully the missing data can be restored.

Sorry for the confusion, system problems, things seem improved now.

Off topic for this thread, I lost my longest streak 30 days after the original feeding Pi was decommissioned.

Now only the days on the new Pi count.

but where are the stat counts for all delivered data for these 10-12 hours?

They should mostly be reprocessed soon.

perfect - thanx for superfast response

Fortunately we now have a combined user streak for all your feeds.

Nice seeing things are back up and running. Good repair work guys.

Ironically the system went down about 5 minutes after I read the other thread about performance improvements.

sorry - but i still can’t see any reprocessing …

My stats are way off normal as well.

… maybe I’m missing something … your problem with the stats missing is???

(its not as though it’s life or death if the stats aren’t there … ??? )

… Only shows if the “Aircraft reported from all sites” panel is shown,
… which is only shown if you have more than one feeder

No, nothing here is “life or death.” That doesn’t mean that the contributors to FlightAware’s product shouldn’t be concerned that the system measuring our efforts is not functioning at 100%. To many of us, our statistics are important. Some of us have spent a considerable amount of time and money to produce the information that FlightAware has asked us for.

If it happens not to be important to you, fine. It is important to the Flightaware staffers that worked through the night to bring the system back on line and whom we hope are working on today’s issues causing the statistics to fall behind once again.

looks like the stats continue having problems.
tonight again for about 90 minutes no feeds were counted on stats page.
data from 10/21 weren’t recovered as dbaker said - but this is not a big deal.

does anybody from staff know whats going on?
