Skyaware vs VRS

Hi all

Does anyone know why SkyAware seems to always see around 10 more aircraft than my VRS ?

Am i missing a setting in VRS ?

Have you got both ADSB and MLAT feeds to your VRS?
Maybe you are missing MLAT (Port 30105)

You will also need to set a merged feed in VRS (if you haven’t already) so you can see both ADSB and MLAT feeds combined.

You don’t want MLAT selected for your normal (ADSB) feed.

Its getting better but still got a discrepancy, could you send me some screen shots of your setting in case I’m still missing something please.

These are my settings.
Note I so not set the MLAT feed to be MLAT in VRS. This is because the feed itself identifies the data as MLAT and so the static MLAT setting is not actually required. However setting it won’t do any harm.

I just also found i hadn’t changed on VRS to merged feed ! all working now. Thanks once again…
