Protest shot down..kind of

Okay, so some workers of a greek airline decide to protest their airline by protesting on a runway. Meanwhile, the airport moves approaching flights to a second runway. What a punch of idiots!

I find it funny that they are protesting their airline, and yet the airport just routes the planes to a different runway. I mean, you think they could have split up their force if that was their intention. Now maybe it was a statement and didn’t want to bring chaos to the airport by protesting on all runways, but it seems like a dumb idea nontheless. Thoughts?

Isn’t there security/police that shouldn’t allow this. Its not America, but in itself is a security violation. Also, what if one of them pulls out a rocket launcher and shoots down a plane?
Perhaps because it’s in Greece and, like most European countries, the unions are very strong. If the police were there, the might not have done anything to show solidarity between the police union and the airline workers union.
