Claim URL broken?

https://flightaware.com/adsb/piaware/claim/<uuid>

This is broken for me.

It works with www. before the flightaware, but the piaware status page has the link without the www.

The error also only seems to show as long as the UUID is not claimed.

@obj not sure who to @ so tag you’re it

Edit … the stupid forum cut the <uuid> i put in the URL, fixed with the edit.

Hey! Sorry for the slow response, I’ve been on leave for a few weeks. looking through internal discussion while I was out, I think this has already been fixed?

Yes, it’s working fine now, it works with any new or existing UUID, but is it possible to allow access to the page without including a UUID (like it used to).
For the last year or so, it just comes up with a blank page suggesting the account history has been wiped (when it’s more a matter of “you can’t get there from here”).

Before I realised an existing UUID would work, I created a new site, just so I could claim it and get access to the page.

You mean just the listing of claimed sites?

I don’t think that was ever a proper page outright, it was always a side-effect of attempting to claim a site, but I can look at whether it can run separately. Not sure what broke such that you can’t see it any more, but there have been a lot of infrastructure changes outside the ADS-B team’s control recently which may be the cause of that.

Yes, exactly.
It doesn’t need to be the same page, but ‘a’ page which displays all sites (past and present) would be very good.
Knowing that any properly formed UUID (not necessarily a valid UUID) will work, is interesting.
eg

Entering someone else’s UUID does NOT give access to their sites (yes, I tried!).
