How to find UID

Hi I had to reinstall a fresh copy of piaware and i now cant reclaim my receiver. I need to find out what my old UID # is. The help section says I can copy it from my stats page. I cant seem to find my stats page. any help would be appreciated .thanks

What is your site name? There are no sites under mikemacdougall

For me, I go to; https://www.flightaware.com/adsb/stats/user/geckoVN

scroll down

that should be my site, its not running now cause i cant claim the recei ver im guessing. i can sign into my account but not my statistic page. everything was running flawless for years, i kinda forget how to navigate around. the site should either be mike macdougall or ve1dnr. not 100% for sure. i just logged into my account thought it might tell me.

While you are signed-in to your account, click the link given below, and it will automatically take you to your “My-ADS-B” stats page:

when i click the link it says no ADS-B exists, for some reason my ADS-B acccount has ben removed…

How long since your site was active?

The method of “claiming your site” has changed, so unless you know your old UUID, you’ll need to have to start again.

Scroll down to Sec7, extract your new UUID from your Pi and announce it’s yours.

ok thanks, i will try that. my system has been done for 1 month.

That should get you going, but it’ll be a new site, not your old one

thanks for you help, i wasnt able to get it to work just like you said but it was enough to get me going in the right direction. all i did was attach a monitor and keyboard to my pi and boot. once the ads-b reciever booted it showed me my uid. i then went to the website https://www.flightaware.com/adsb/piaware/claim/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx

and bingo it worked, all up and running with my old account. I just now have to do it all over again with my pro reciever usb , i attached the wrong reciever. lol. tahnks again. you truly helped…
