From previous posts, you might need to contact flightaware to reset something for you:

Once it is set by the receiver it can no longer be manually set, which is kind of buggy. Not sure how it was set by your receiver, that normally shouldn’t happen unless you run gpsd. @obj or @esmathews to the rescue. (One of them will hopefully reset the location so you can configure it again)
