I’m sure we all appreciate the effort you are putting into collecting this information, but I’m not sure that you are offering any value to this board with your daily posts.
lol, well, I certainly didn’t plan on keeping them going forever - more of a demonstration/experiment than anything. Although I’d imagine it’s easy enough to just not read a thread, no?
I was never upset or annoyed at your posts, if I was, I definitely would not read the thread. I was simply pointing out that you seemed to be putting a tremendous amount of effort, which everyone on this board can certainly appreciate, in compiling information that does not offer a tremendous amount of insight. I understand that you were demonstrating that you can, with some effort, track blocked flights to some degree. You certainly made that point with the first few posts.
I guess the amount of insight gleaned depends on your interest in one of the flights listed? It’s actually not much effort - typing it up is probably the worst part.
I kinda chalk it up to the situation where you run across someone who can speak Klingon… it’s fascinating that they took that much time to learn or do something so pointless…
lol, well, SOMEONE must want to know where and when these planes are coming and going, but I’m not sure how it compares to the number of people who want to have conversations in Klingon.
I didn’t hear anyone clamoring for this information unless I missed the post. Since they are blocked, isn’t it none of their business? How about you post the make, model, color and plate number of your car. I want to now where you are going. How does that sound?
Ah, so your actual complaint is one of privacy? These planes are blocked from the FAA sending out their data - that doesn’t mean it’s a secret. There are plenty of valid reasons for wanting to know what they’re up to, and if you think people don’t want to track blocked flights on sites like this, that’s just crazy, of course they do. As to your example, I have no expectation of privacy while driving my car on public streets, so if you want to obtain and post my daily commute, have at it.
