An airline to be proudd of . . .

I dropped off my 13 year old today in Savannah to spend a few days with his grandparents - his school does not start until Aug 29.

Delta had a large contingent of soldiers returning to Iraq. The local station employees allowed wives, children, and other loved ones to accompany the men and one woman through security to the gate, where they could send them back to war in person, instead of at the security checkpoint, and to spend a few more precious moments with their soldiers before they returned to Iraq.

Kudos to Delta and their employees for being human, in a sea of criticism of the airline industry and in the summer of malcontent for fliers. . .
