Alerts?

Yep, you got it.

It seems that I’m getting alerts (email and mobile) in CDT, which is new to me. Is there an option I need to flip somewhere to make everything ET (where I am)?

Alerts use the settings from your user profile when formatting times:

nugget,

I have “Arizona/Mountain (Never Observe DST)” set in my user profile and I’m getting alerts I set up for a friend’s flight today from LAX-PHX in CDT…

My email Flight Alerts used to always be sent to me in my correct time zone, (EST or EDT). However recently all alerts are now arriving in CDT.

My profile has always been (and is still after checking it) set to Eastern Time.

Why am I receiving email alerts set to CDT?

My profile is set to Eastern. I went ahead and reset it to Eastern (no DST) and then back to Eastern to ‘rewrite’ the setting… We’ll see what happens.

I just registered this morning, but am not receiving any alerts for an active commercial flight, which you are tracking on “Live Tracking.” How long after registering should I expect to receive alerts?

aaronw: We’re aware of an issue with some alerts going out with the wrong timezone and looking into it.

Blackhorse27: The airline flight you have an alert for operates under a different airline code. I’ve corrected your alert for you.

I received the arrival alert. Thanks for the help.
