These are just 3 planes, but trust me, I have looked up many US Airways planes and the results are similiar. So what is going on? I notice the same with Virgin America, by the way.

Sme question here. I can’t track any of Southwest Airlines Fleet either!

You probably already saw this in your post about tracking the special paint jobs on SWA aircraft, but per mduell…

“Unlike the other majors, Southwest doesn’t provide us with the aircraft tail number. We just have the flight number from ATC.”

Well, supposedly US Airways DOES provide it------so what’s the problem?

Any particular reason you need to be so rude about it? Is this a life and death situation? I find it amazing folks lambaste FA for the most trivial matters given this is, for all intents and purposes, a FREE service… geez…

US Airways chooses not to provide that information to us. In the ATC system they only use the flight number, so for airlines that choose to cooperate we receive the tail number along with the gate assignments, etc in a seperate system.

Is there any way you can get the registration numbers to track them?

A pair of binoculars and a lot of time on your hands?

Or just wait a few months for the BTS data to come out.

Thanks! and I don’t think U.S Airways sends 757s to Denver International Airport. In the winter they use A319/A320s summer they use A321s from Charlotte and Phoenix.
