Who has the longest PiAware streak contest?

Ok, it’s really not a ‘contest’ that you win anything other than bragging rights. That said, I looked at my stats page to find January 1st, 2015 marking a 100 day feeder streak with my RasPi and PiAware. Really a statement to the FA/RasPI/PiAware product stability.

Which got me to thinking… 100 days is really probably nothing. But who can beat it? Who has the longest PiAware streak?

I was having a good run until a small power cut corrupted the SD card & it took me a few days to find the time to sort it out.
But have to agree, the Raspberry Pi & PiAware are excellent.

Nice!

So who can beat 118 days?

Only 93 days here:

Longest Streak: 93 days (01-Oct-2014 - Today)

90 days without a reboot on the Pi doing the feeding though:

pi@rpi ~ $ uptime
 20:46:09 up 90 days, 9:57, 1 user, load average: 0.92, 0.90, 0.90

I think that’s a different contest. If you reboot, the day counter continues. If you crash for a couple days it resets I believe. 90 days since reboot- stable little beasties eh?

Currently at 139 days, was waiting for the software to be released.

I’m really impressed with the software Karl and the team have produced, it is light on cpu and storage and works well.

I also like their refreshing open approach to data sharing, competitors are so selfish and inward looking.

I was waiting also

Longest Streak: 88 days (19-Aug-2014 - 14-Nov-2014) cut short by an unscheduled brown out by the local power agency. i haven’t gotten anywhere close to that lately with some corrupt files every so often.

For those keeping score at home…

Current known reported streak record is:
mighty3507 at 141 days.

Ahh, but most ‘streaks’ are ‘Streeching’ as time passes

Ok, I’m guessing the streak has been extended. That said, can anyone better this streak; 145 days.

The peterbenney Site #178 is a Feeder Type PlanePlotter.
Not PiAware (but that is still pretty damn impressive.)

So, can anyone best (my now longer streak) of:
Longest Streak: 146 days (24-Sep-2014 - Today)

Looks like there is not much interest in the thread, but FWIW, my RasPI is over 200 days now! Pretty amazing to me.

Sadly, a lightning strike took out my cable modem and ended my streak. Good news is the RasPI, SDR, etc. all survived.

It ended at:
Longest Streak: 243 days (24-Sep-2014 - 24-May-2015)

And to my knowledge this is the longest PiAware streak in the history of all man kind! (but I am sure others are longer and just not reported here).

The streak will break when I put the Pi2 rig up - I’ll not ‘fake’ the MAC-address.

I’m only at 219 days:

Longest Streak: 212 days (29-Oct-2014 - Today)

but one of my Pi feeders:

adsb@wombat ~ $ uptime
 11:40:55 up 106 days, 1:06, 1 user, load average: 1.17, 1.02, 0.97

up solid for over 3 months isn’t bad!

Yeah, the streak seems to end if your down for a whole day - My Pi is plugged into the mains where the electric mower plugs in - so it has an hour or so downtime once or twice a week in summer.

Mine
