Vertical Rate Value from API

Hello,

I am new to the API. I am trying to get tracking values using FlightXML v3 for a specific flight, for example “BAW198-1557638784-airline-0056” using the following query: https://username:apiKey@flightxml.flightaware.com/json/FlightXML3/GetFlightTrack?ident=BAW198-1557638784-airline-0056.

This is the same flight as seen in the log https://flightaware.com/live/flight/BAW198/history/20190514/0750Z/VABB/EGLL/tracklog

I am able to get all numerical values from the page, except for the “Rate”, the one that the page gives in meters/min. I searched through the documentation, but I can find no way of getting the “rate” information. Can someone help me figure out how to get that?

The rate shown on the tracklog is just the difference between the prior and following positions, it’s not captured in the data.
