I check Flightradar24 every day to see if anything of interest might be heading to LAX…
Every now and then I happen upon strange phenomenons – for example a plane showing up as TEST1234 producing bizarre but very systematic tracks and I was wondering what it might be all about. – I have taken a couple of screen shots that show this…it’s all done over empty, unpopulated desert, altitude around 6K feet or so…I can’t post image here but would like to e-mail image if someone is interested in checking it out…
I’m on AOL and the “handle” is “beexact”…
The area where this has taken place is roughly north of Barstow…

…yeah, I had found that before I posted and thought initially that this would “solve the mystery”…but didn’t…thread seemed to suggest “TEST1234” applied to some “station” or “antenna” or similar – not an aircraft…what I have seen a couple of times is an aircraft assigned the code TEST1234 (per Flightradar24)…and the flight pattern would suggest some sort of “experiment” going on…out there…over the desert…
(I often see NASA or GE jumbos circle around up there north of Victorville, but this is very different…)
