Hi - I recently received the Orange FlightAware Feeder Version 9 for 1090Mhz setup. Now, I would like to add 978Mhz setup and I don’t mind if I have to buy some parts on my own. I just wanted to add the 978 setup as there’s none around my area.
Does anyone have a guide on how to do it? Is it possible to just buy a new dongle and antenna for the 978 and plug on the existing FlightAware Feeder? Any input would be appreciated.

You do not have admin access to the Flightaware owned equipment.
Plase dont try to mess with the hardware or software on the Flightfeeder.

Contact Flightaware Support. They may supply you additional receiver for 978 UAT.

If you want to build your own station, you’ll need:
- A dongle
- An antenna
- A Raspberry Pi
- (plus some cables).

After upgrading to PiAware (Debian Package Add-on) 9.0.1 I no longer get 978 MHz UAT
- How can I get UAT back?
Otherwise I have a UAT dongle, antenna, installation and cabling going to waste.
Thanks
PS: I also upgraded to the Bullseye RPI OS at the same time - don’t know which (or both) caused the outage.
Thanks again - in advance
