Turn on 5 volt(bias-t) power in an SDR

Greetings to all I am Carlos and I am new to ADS-B and I am writing to see if you can answer any questions. The station is running and sending data, but when I try to activate the 5 volt output of the sdr to power an LNA it doesn’t work. I am working with a raspberry connected to a sdr skewer and an ADS-B 1090 Mhz LNA. The program is PiAware.

What kind of receiver stick do you have? Not all receivers support output of bias T voltage, sometimes you need to add a physical one on the cable.

If one is going to use an RTL-SDR type stick, and always ON bias-tee is needed, my suggestion is the NooElec SmarTee:

Ok, it works. Thank you very much for your help

You did not tell us which dongle you use.

Best regards, thanks for the information. The dongle is an rtl-sdr (RTL2832U). Now I will put a magnet antenna set at 1090 MHz with the LNA. I will comment to see how it works.
