This trip is a two-legged flight that starts in Sacramento with a stop in Phoenix before contining on to Raleigh.
The plane is currently (1949 Eastern 2349 Zulu) over greater LA and
the route that was filed was a plan that with Frogo6 (Sacramento to Southern California not Arizona) any idea why this flight would go through
greater LA instead of over NV?
It has the ARLIN3 STAR which is to PHX. If a flight was diverting, would it show the diversion airport even when the flight hasn’t landed at it?
Edit: flightaware.com/resources/airpor … RLIN+THREE
Their usual route had/has bad wx (DRK is on J92, IIRC), so the ATCSCC moved traffic around the storms:

For reroutes, you can also do fly.faa.gov/ois/ click on the plus next to “NSST”, then click on “Current Reroutes” to see the active major reroutes. Tactical reroutes won’t be listed here, and it is a bit more hit-or-miss to find out the reason why a specific plane was moved if it wasn’t part of a playbook or long duration reroute.
