Why did SMO’s wx data stop posting since 11/01/07 night 2000 local
I wish I saw this post a month ago – maybe I could remember if it was something with the ASOS equipment or not. Anyway, I do remember the altimeter setting on the ASOS machine quitting a month or so ago - it was out for almost two days, despite several calls to the people who maintain the equipment about how the automated wx is the only source for the altimeter when the tower is closed.
Anyway, I don’t know if that had anything to do with it on flightaware or not . . .
