Readsb and tar1090 settings

I have a portable setup using a Pi Zero and @wiedehopf readsb instead of dump1090 - this appears to work well when visiting a local airport as the auto gain adjustments lets me see normal commercial aircraft on the map as well as local traffic a few hundred metres away. It is a normal setup so no GPS option running on the Pi Zero.

Two slight issues I have and remedy not obvious on configuration screen.

  1. Occasionally I lose my map position and due to small mobile screen have difficulty resuming my chosen location, is there a method of bookmarking the location?
  2. My other issue when I lose my map location is when I expand the map using the onscreen +/- options the map increases in size but the map text remains small, again small screen size coupled with glare makes screen unreadable.

Is there a method of bookmarking location either via tar1090 configuration or browser bookmark?

There is a command to update the location quite easily, search here: Automatic installation for readsb · wiedehopf/adsb-scripts Wiki · GitHub

This is probably the best way but if want to use a bookmark this will work added to the URL:
?SiteLat=45.0&SiteLon=10.0
