Somehow I have not had that success yet. Fired up a fresh Stretch install on a pi zero w, added piaware, dump1090-fa, lighttpd and pretty soon (between minutes and hours) dump1090-fa would start outputting “No data received from the SDR for a long time, it may have wedged”. rebooted pi or killed dump1090-fa and a short time later “No data …”
Tried a local compile of both the dev branch (v3.5.3) and master (v3.5.1). Did not change anything.
Have now returned to Jessie (same pi w zero, same rtl-stick) and now it runs through.
Somehow I think that rtl-sdr/libusb under Stretch is going to need some debugging as I also got the occasional “weirdness: rtlsdr gave us a block…” before the "No data"s started.
For now I would not yet use Stretch.
