On my flightaware page for my Raspberry Pi the RADIO section & MILAT sections are orange, if I power down and backup my Pi the RADIO goes green for a while but MILAT stays orange.
Care to post a Screen shot?
PS you might want to upgrade your software too:
PiAware (SD Card) 3.1.0
should be 3.5.0 now, 3.1.0 is pretty old.
I am using the latest SD card image, I reoot it lats a while then happens again.
If you’re seeing no traffic at all when it fails, but a reboot brings it back, then it’s probably the dongle wedging. The most common cause of that is bad power.
Cheers, power to my Pi is an amazon firestick power supply, do I need better power ?
I left it like that and it seems to have self corrected
OK I have changed my power supply for my HTC phone charger its 5v 1A
I think you want 5v 2.5a:
Phone chargers are not great for powering a Pi (they often do not actually supply the voltage they claim to supply)
Get a power supply designed for powering a Pi (e.g. the Canakit one above should be fine)
Thanks for help but I have a new issue
I had updated tot he latest piaware v 3.5.0 and all are now red on my piaware page but when I go to my skyview page it seems to be working
Right checked via my feed in VRS and through sky view and it seems to be working fine but my piaware page still showing all red.
