Plane flying over not reported

We are investigating an issue with the display of the table on the “My ADS-B” page. I’ll post an update when I have more information.

Have any changes been made?
I’m seeing a dramatic difference on one site. It used to show one or two occasionally but usually zero.
It’s now unusual for the table not to have twenty aircraft listed.

There seemed to be a change about 4 days ago.

I have been watching the station on Cocos (Keeling) Island SweetPea11 ADS-B Feeder Statistics - FlightAware

There are only a handful of planes per day at the moment but every one I have noticed has been correctly listed in the FLIGHTS WITH POSITIONS FROM THIS FEEDER table.

It certainly seems to have received some attention.

Thanks Flightaware.

Yes we did make some improvements. You should see better results now.

Much improved thanks Eric.

Hi Eric

Seems this problem may have resurfaced.

We are in lockdown in Melbourne and there are very few planes flying.

One of my sites with just a dipole in a window is only seeing a few planes at a time but the heading is there but no planes listed.

Site 69773

Here is the entry in the tracklog

Thanks,

I’ll have our folks take a look and see if we can’t get to the bottom of this.

Thanks,

I suspect that the fix put in last time I raised this was dropped out of the next update. Unfortunately, this happens in software development and maintenance.

I only noticed it because here in Melbourne we are in a total lockdown and there are occasionally only one or two planes recorded in an hour and the problem reappears.

Very quiet skies.

Thanks,

S.
