New user here, just finished my RaspberryPi build and have a question on SD cards. I used a download for Noobs and all is fine with Rasbian installed. When I copied the PiAware.img files to the card it appears to have overwritten the SD card. Rasbian OS still exists but in the GUI it appears that a lot of other options my Noobs install added are now gone. All the programming languages, etc. Is there a way to integrate PiAware into my existing Noobs install and still have all the options available? Or is it best to have PiAware on its on SD card?
The SD card image is a turn key solution. If you want to build your own system, follow instruction at:
https://flightaware.com/adsb/piaware/install
If you want dump1090-mut 1.15dev instead of FA dump1090, follow:

AS N456TS suggests, the Piaware image replaces everything on the SD card (that is what the “imge” bit means).
But his second suggestion installs the Piaware and dump1090 into he Raspian image and leaves everything else in place.
If you don’t need any of the other items in NOOBS, just install Raspian so you have more space available on your SD card,
