I’m relatively knew to flightaware.
A news reporter, I was lucky to take a 12-hour ride aboard a B-52 Bomber - numerous July 4 flyovers - the last before the base was closed.
Afterward the flight, the crew gave me a B-52 crew coin (644th Bomber Division) only given to those who have flown on a B-52.
Is there a place to upload a photo of both side of the coin - or is it not appropriate - ie plane photos only?
fyi - Immediately upon landing the plane was surrounded on the taxiway by numerous base police vehicles with flashing lights.
The pilots looked at me because this had never happened before.
