N17773 was the Colorado Rockies private jet, and they flew on this airplane for 16 years, and it was sold 5 years ago plus or minus. It’s been sitting at Marana. This past couple of weeks, N17773 has filed to fly to Kansas City. Obviously a ferry permit flight, as it’s behind several C-checks by now and all AD work. Both times it only got about 20 minutes into flight, then diverted to PHX. Anyone know the inside story? I’m guessing pressurization problems? A 66 first class seat airplane, now it’s owned by “a Caribbean Cargo Company?” Do they also fly passengers? I wouldn’t think this would be worth the 2 million it’ll take to get airworthy, and even more to convert to cargo. Information?
