For some reason flight plans are showing up for N110UV, GLF5, HOU-SAT. Noticed them a couple months ago 2-3 of them, then twice this week, but the flight never departs, the N# shows not reserved or registered. Flightaware shows last activity years ago after the current flight plan goes away. Any ideas?
It’s probably a repetitive flight plan that wasn’t removed. Airlines use repetitive flight plans but also some private aircraft that make the same flight routinely (looks like it used to be a corporate jet). I doubt it’s a flightaware bug – the FAA is probably sending the data properly and it then disappears automatically when the flight plan times out. If you know the former operator of that aircraft, have them call flight service and they should be able to take care of it.
