Merry Christmas all - Didn't expect it to be so quiet.

As a fairly new hand at this, I just didn’t realise how little traffic there would be on Christmas day. I’m quite sure this is the same globally but I was down around 50% of normal. Traffic dropped off very quickly on the afternoon of Christmas Eve and today is the first day I’m back to over 3,000 aircraft in a single day.

I wonder what New Year will bring - I’d expect New Years Eve to be busier than normal in the morning and then drop off again with new Years Day being quiet. Of course, I could be completely wrong, we’ll find out at the weekend.

I noticed a little drop in total aircrafts, but not with 50%.
I am from Bulgaria, Southeastern Europe.
There are a lot turkish and arab airplanes flying over my country and as we all know muslims do not celebrate Christmas. Maybe that is the reason for my drop not being so significant.
