I frequently encounter this error: “No Mode (didn’t receive your submission)” when logging in to flightaware.com. This started happening when a cloudflare service was introduced to the login process presumably to weed out bots. Regardless of why the cloudflare service was introduced, this login error is now a frequent result when trying to log in to the site.
You’re timing out on the reply requested by Cloudflare.
Try to set the checkmark as soon as it is displayed.
Thanks for the reply. I am setting the checkmark in the Cloudflare challenge as soon as it is presented. From entering my password to receiving this error is usually less than three or four seconds total.
Are you using Linux with Chromium by chance and have the option “automatically login” disabled?
On my device it comes up with that message every time i disable the option. Once it is enabled, it doesn’t appear any longer
I am also receiving this error running Chromium. Can you tell me where to disable the automatically login setting? Is that a chromium or FlightAware setting?
This is a Chromium setting under “Password Manager”
Open the password manager from the Chromium Options and select “settings”.
The first entry is the offer to store passwords and the second one is the automatic login.
In case anyone cares, this still happens frequently. I use both Windows and Linux machines to access my flightaware account, and this happens in both Windows and Linux, also across Mozilla/Firefox, Chrome, Chromium, and Edge browsers. I’m nearly certain this is a cloudflare problem.
I don’t even get a checkbox, just a rolling animation. Slow computer perhaps?
