Is it mandatory to select exact gps location with 25m or Shall I able to select 1-2Km distance on gps for privacy purpose.
Because the location is being showing on flight aware site.
The location should be accurate when you look at it, but somewhat obfuscated when others do.
For example, when I look at my stats page from my logged-in browser on my laptop, it displays the latitude and longitude to 5 decimal places. Looking at it from my cell phone, where I am not logged in, it only displays 2 decimal places.
In my case that lands about 300 meters from my actual location - that’s good enough-ish for me.

Your ‘actual’ location needs to be fairly accurate if you want to use MLAT, otherwise, close is good enough.
For privacy, in your site settings, there is the option to obsure you location - i think this is what you are looking for.

Basically The Flight aware coverage map is showing exact gps location as gps coordinate.
I will try this option to manual enter 1Km distance location for privacy
Try it when not logged in as “you”
