How to create a log of flights

I am running PiAware 4.0 and receiving both 978 and 1090 successfully. Now I would like to create a log of flights detected by my site.

Does anybody know of a good how to for something like this?

This has been asked several times. There are Scripts available which can put them into CSV files coming from the data provided by dump1090-fa. Best would be searching the forum for it.

Or you use the “comfortable” solution and install VirtualRadarServer. This does have a DB logging functionality giving you some more details and a comfortable interface.

It depends on what you would like to do with it.

Hi everybody, I’m just new in flightaware. I’ve just built my first pi-aware station and i try to make an export to a csv file (or xml). I check on the forum but it was not enough clear. Any idea pls? Best regards; WL
