High-Flyers photographs

No there, wasn’t much to see. We were either in IMC or between layers, nothing good to look at.
But here’s some older ones.

Oh thats to bad. I like that second one.

Oh, please that’s not bad…sorry former freight dog life. Let’s try that again.

Oh, please that’s not bad if your going the other way. Or at FL450. That storm looks low, I bet a 10 min time lapse of that cell well it built up would be really cool.[/quote]

the past few days it has been bad weather here, or at least too cloudy to get pics, so i dont have anythign to contribute. just got back from a bed & breakfast weekend with the fiance, and its nice and sunny now, so maybe ill get some good ones today.

I would put some pics up if there wasnt a 90% cloud cover here.

Also, I own the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H2. I have been trying to find a decent lens. Around maybe 300mm. I’ve searched all over but came up with nothing. Anybody know where I could get one?

How about this one?

Run the other way. “Run like the wind Bulls-eye.” It’s a free sand blasting!!

its a 100% severe clear day here and no contrails in sight!!! i did catch an Air Tran 717 flying over without a contrail, but the pic isnt worth posing. always tomorrow i guess :stuck_out_tongue:

I wish I had taken my camera in my carry-on the last time the wife and I flew to Florida. We had just started the descent toward MCO (I’m guessing somewhere between Jacksonville & Gainesville), when our course was altered a little to wrap around a huge cumulonimbus cloud, complete with a well-defined anvil top, lightning throughout, the whole 9 yards. I thought it was gorgeous; my nervous wife didn’t appreciate the beauty as much as I did.

Got any good pics from THAT to share? :smiling_imp:

The link for the allegiant website is not correct. This is the correct link.

No Hyphen

Why would Allegiant Air be flying to KDAY if they do not serve Dayton. Cargo?

Once again. Nice pic.

HAHAAH, eh, who cares :stuck_out_tongue: 8)

which one is a nice pic?!?! ha

the last one was purely for planaholic’s enjoyment…of course, anyone else can enjoy as well hahahah

I’ll take the blame for driving you off the topic…Nice (the fiance AND the pic). Cotton field? It almost looks stormy, with the wind in her hair and the dark (thanks to the flash, probably) background.

How are the skies today? I’m ready for another round of “Name that Plane…and Airline.”

yeah it was a cotton field. it was right at sunset, hence the darkness, but her being lit IS due to the flash lol…and thanks

well, its, once agian, severe clear…hoping to get some shots this morning, although i SHOULD be studying for a Psych test this afternoon. my usual shooting time this afternoon is taken up by getting ready for me and my fiance’s 1 year ann tonight, so i may not get any…hopefully things wil be back to normal picture wise in the next few days. unless its cloudy on wednesday, expect some that afternoon/evening.
