All I see when I connect it to a monitor all I see is “wlan0 down”.
And you have the password and SSID entered in the correct format as per the config?
Here is my config:
wireless-ssid THL#AP
wireless-password greenleaf10
Your SSID has a # in it, so you need to add quotation marks at the start and end of the SSID, so it will be “THL#AP”

Looks like the forum converts to smart quotes as they have start and end quote marks that are different.
You need the straight quotes.
What are you using as an editor?
If it is Notepad, try Save as ANSI. Under the encoding section of the save dialog.

It seems you see straight or inverted quotes depends on viewer’s Browser.
