Based solely on the list of recent arrivals sorted by AC type, I’d say it’s pretty rare. All the recent 747 arrivals are for the G-20, so at least there are no regularly scheduled 747 flights.
Beijing to JFK? Jesus Christ! Any reason why China and Japan went to JFK and then skipped around then went on to Pittsburgh? I mean, they did pass the place going up to JFK eh? Better beer?
The UN meeting was in NY prior to the G20.
Also, I’m not aware of any of the standard flights in/out of KPIT being 747. It’s a shame. KPIT is a really nice airport with new facilities, but was really hurt when US Airways started pulling their operations out. When most east coast airports close for snow, PIT is often still open.
