I’m new to FlightAware and here for the TV feature which I would like to display at a Hotel as something they have requested.
Currently, I cannot use it because I think it needs some attention and updates. If I could…
- For Arrivals and Departures, display current flights close to current time. It’s 10pm now. I don’t need to see flights from 7am. I would say 3 hours is good. (Auto-scroll)
- For Arrivals and Departures, date and flight status should be included in display. Arrivals for… and Departures for… (as we get closer to next day operations) This assumes auto-scroll for flights beyond 3 hours. Flight status should be present and should say, On Time, On Ground, Scheduled, or Delayed with times / est. times and if possible, arrival / departure gates.
- For the map display layer options, when I zoom in on the airport of interest, I would like an option to stick the zoom-in without it resetting every time the page refreshes. I don’t want guests having a worldview of flights too far outside the zoomed in airport of interest if that makes sense.
