Flight plan misinformation

Hi Everyone, I am new here.

I noticed that this evening August 1st UNITED AIRLINES flight UAL1257 [segment from KSFO to PANC] flight plan was messed up and was filed under UAL8257 which is a code share of AIR CANADA ROUGE flight ROU1848 [CYVR to KSFO]. The interesting thing is they passed each other.

It appears they simply changed the flight number, possibly because it was delayed, but it could have been for other reasons.
