I lease a 414 but i do not pilot the aircraft. all flights are IFR and and flight plans. my question is why the flight does not show up on flight aware when i have the plane leased but when other lease with the same pilot it does.

Also explain the 12 hour rule. Is that 12 hours flight time or 12 hours total.

Ask the pilot or try adding a “T” before the N#. N1AB = TN1AB

The aircraft may fly under a flight number sometimes and under it’s N# other times.

Not sure what you’re asking about 12 hour rule. Pilot duty day?
