Tracking a Norwegian Air Service Boeing 787-9 and it shows on my Skyview as a Large body aircraft. (large 4 engine)
think I figured it out. They are not broadcasting A/C type and the map just inserts one.
When the aircraft type for the ICAO hex code is not in the Skyview local database for an ADS-B equipped aircraft, Skyview will default the icon based on the aircraft category code sent by the aircraft via ADS-B – these categories are coarse and do not specify exact engine configuration.
