Enabling MLAT in VRS using ModesMixer2

Hi,

I have modesmixer in a raspberry with these arguments:

PROG_ARGS="--inSerial /dev/ttyUSB0:3000000:hardware --inServer 30104 --outServer beast:30005 --web 8081 --location -16.6838456:-43.8345246 --outServer avr:30002"

I would like to see the MLAT in the VRS, how should I set up?

In fact I can see MLAT on VRS when configured for port 30002, but in the “MLAT” it shows “No”,
I would like to see “YES” when aircraft is on MLAT.

Sorry bad english.
Thanks,
Alan Farley.

Telling VRS to connect to modesmixer on port 30005 should be enough providing you are feeding mlat results to it. I don’t know if it forwards the mlat indicator on that port though, so you may not be able to tell the difference in VRS.

The way I have it set up is to have two receivers in VRS - one for the mlat client and one for dump1090 and connect to them directly. The mlat client is set to listen on port 30105. I then created a merged feed from both receivers which displays all the data together.
