I had just gotten home from a long day at the airport watching, I mean supervising, our mechanic when I looked up and saw one fly over the compound at about 1000 ft. I checked the website and darned if they haven’t switched to the 380 on all the DXB-JED flights. All one a day that is.

When I first saw it there was a palm tree in the way, sure looked funny until I could see the whole airplane. I’ll try to remember the camera tomorrow, otherwise we are leaving Wednesday so it may be a while.

There is good news, and there is bad news.
The good news: I remembered my camera. (thanks Will)
The bad news: The wind switched so they are landing on 16 so I won’t see it.
The worse news (or good news depending on how much beer I drink tomorrow): We are off to Beirut for 10 days.
