Dump1090 min hardware requirements with Mode-S beast

Good day everyone,
I am a total newbie just making my first steps in flight tracking, my apologies if the idea below does not make any sense. So I’ve got a Mode-S beast working just fine with RPi3, and really old openwrt router (DIR-620 with USB port, Ralink RT3052F@384MHz CPU and 32Mb RAM). I was wondering if it will make sense to try getting dump1090 running on it instead of RPi, as in my mind Mode-S beast does all the hard job and in this case dump1090 will probably be good with that ultra low hardware specs?
Will appreciate any thoughts on that, thank you!

dump1090 should run on a potato in net-only (no SDR) mode.

Works completely fine on a pi zero w. It does use about 85% cpu but it runs.
