Just a software glitch, I’m sure they’re working on it.
Of course, if this is MS related they’ll call it a feature.
I just saw Bob Newhart on Jay Leno last night. He dispelled that myth. He surveyed a thousand stars and found that you meet entirely different people on the way down, so there’s no need to be nice to anyone on the way up. Good thing for you, David!

I saw that too. Newhart is a classic. I rode an elevator (down) with his wife and him once. I didn’t mistake him for Newman!

I saw damiross with a 5001 count on one post, so that means it goes above 5000 a little before it wraps around to negative numbers. It’s definitely a bug in the BBS software used by FA. In principle, someone could fix it. Wow, they really should get a life instead.
I also noticed at the discussions login page, it says that FA members have posted 70625 articles. Assuming that number hasn’t been corrupted in a similar way, that means damiross has posted almost 1/14 of all messages on FA!
5000 posts is nothing (not to belittle Damiross at all but), I’ve seen guys with well north of 25,000(in about 8-10years) on some yahoo boards. They are mostly day traders on the boards day and night. The guy I am referring to put some thought into his posts too, not the typical basher stuff you see on there.
