Configuration Settings

I installed, my Pi4, using these instructions. PiAware - dump1090 ADS-B integration with FlightAware - FlightAware
Nowhere during the installation was I asked for a username or any other information. When I attempted to claim my “reward” I am being told that my device cannot be found on my network.

  1. Can anyone tell me how I can locate and edit the configuration settings for the Pi’s FlightAware?
  2. Are there ports that need to be open on my router in order to be seen by FlightAware?
  3. I placed the Pi in my routers DMZ and that didn’t work, should I disable all firewall settings in order for the server to recognize my Pi?

Any help and guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks

You can check journalctl -u piaware for the feeder-id.

Then you can claim like this:

Thanks, that did it.

Welcome to the forum William.

Think @wiederhopf resolved your problem, have you removed the Pi from the DMZ now?

Geoff

Yes @wiederhopf did resolve my problem and I have removed the Pi from the DMZ.
Thanks to all for the help.

Can you tell me how to get to the configuration settings. Say to change the GPS location or to change elevation or nearest airport?

Please disregard, I found the location to make the changes I desired.
