Did not see any talk or topic already on the Colgan crash and
especially much discussion on the NTSB final report
and especially on the FRONTLINE PBS TV documentary
"Flying Cheap " show.

If you didnt get chance to watch it on TV - can watch it online above.
About 55 minutes
Really is amazing … and Unbelievable in many ways that this goes on.
So what about this PBS Frontline show ?
Was this pretty accurate report and on-the-mark about the
regional commuter carriers like Colgan ?
Or was it biased and one-sided trying to slam Colgan and all the
regional carriers ?
Kinda impressed that PBS has even posted the very critical memo
sent out by Colgan to its employees picking apart PBS’s show about their company. (kinda showing PBS’s attempt to show both sides)
Miles OBrien seems to have some pretty good aviation background/credentials worked for CNN and having done this report.
Pilot himself.
What about him ?
Man - those crashpads they showed were really disgusting!!
How could anyone even walk into some of those rooms and stay there for even one minute - let alone lay down and go to bed ???
Ugggggg!!! Grosssss!
What about those former Colgan pilots - are they just sour grapes from
disgruntled former employees or are they just probably teling it like it was when they were there ?
Is this PBS show really close to what/how the life of these low-paid regional pilots really is like these days ?
It must really suck.
The flying might be alright - but the offtime, downtime, low-pay, crappy hours and living and commuting conditions - that must SUCK.
Is any of it going to change at all ya think ?
(Hope it does at least for all the people and crew on that flight that something really good comes of it and not just be another forgotten waste)
