I might be stupid, but after googling and searching i cant find a simple instruction on how to claim a newly installed receiver that is on a remote site.
I have done this with version 2.0 with the username/password command, which seems to not be the way any more. I have the feederID, but where do i go with that?
While logged in to FA, go to flightaware.com/adsb/piaware/claim/ID (replacing ID with the feeder ID)

It is a work in progress. It’s linked from the local status page on an unclaimed receiver if you’re running the piaware sdcard image, but the claim page itself still needs some attention.
