Had a setup purchased from ebay, worked relatively good at the last apartment.
Bought a house, and now i even got my fat butt on a ladder and mounted the antenna to the side of the house.
problem is, i can’t claim the unit. i keep getting this message.
Unfortunately, FlightAware hasn’t found a new, unclaimed PiAware feeder to claim
Great news! Your account is associated with the following PiAware receivers and you can view your statistics here :
b1884e34-5c8a-4361-8e47-15ed31946caf: PiAware (SD Card) 4.0 added Friday, April 17, 2020 (2601:587:200:9820:6227:1016:133e:7c7a / 192.168.0.16)
when i click that link, it says “No Such ADSB site”
any ideas?
The feeder ID won’t change just because you moved to a different location. Be sure to update the location lat/long in your FA account. If all else fails, delete the feeder ID from the piaware-config file in /boot. That will create a new feeder ID on the next reboot.

That’s not sufficient, this is what is required via SSH or keyboard / monitor:
sudo systemctl stop piaware
sudo piaware-config feeder-id ""
sudo rm /var/cache/piaware/feeder_id
sudo systemctl start piaware
Anyhow i’d advise to just start with a new sd-card, probably easier.
PiAware - build your own ADS-B ground station for integration with FlightAware - FlightAware
Writing the system to the sd-card isn’t that complicated, give it a try.
Yes, you are correct. I’d forgotten that the feeder-id was also cached.
