Cessna 310 Ferry Flight Down in North Atlantic

#1

It is feared a 1968 Cessna 310N (N5030Q) has ditched in the North Atlantic about 50 miles from Keflavik, Iceland. It was a ferry flight from the USA to Europe. The aircraft had departed Goose Bay, Canada with a stop in Narsarsuaq, Greenland and then on to Iceland. A search is underway. Conditions in the North Atlantic are very harsh and the odds of survival are not good.

FlightAware shows part of the flight outbound from Goose Bay.
