Anyone have any contact info on AVN AIR LLC (DANBURY CT)?? Are they still around?
Looks like their website danburyflightschool.com/ was taken down which makes me wonder if they exist?
landings.com/_landings/pages/fbo/fbo-ct.html was where I extracted the above website.

Allen, do you know that Danbury Flight School and AVN are one in the same? Danbury has 3 FBOs and at least one flight school. I know one of the FBO’s hangar burned down just about 2 or 3 months ago. It was Reliant Air, they are also a charter and scheduled charter operator flying Navajo and Aerostars.
The other FBOs from memory are Business Air Center (BAC) and Executive Aviation.
Unfortunately, I don’t know.
All I did was Google the name to see if I could find anything of use for the original poster and it led me to the landings.com link
Needless to say, what I provided was not too much. I was too lazy to pick up the phone and see.

It destroyed the hangar and nine aircraft inside the building, including two private jets and seven other planes, state police said.
Another 15 planes outside the hangar were damaged.
“The property damage is significant and the planes that were in the hangar – already we’re talking probably between $20 and $25 million worth of damage,” Chief Geoff Herald told WTNH-TV.
The building housed the charter flight company and other businesses, including McNally’s Steak & Ale House.
I think it is GE Commercial Finance uses this for a lot of the aircraft financings
Just got this month’s AOPA Pilot magazine from the mailbox and inside is a large article on the Reliant fire.
Does it list which aircraft were lost in the fire???
I did note that Citation Jet CJ-3 N525EZ had not shown up on Flightaware since the fire?, Flightaware and was wondering which two private jets sadly burned to the ground.
N717HA is a C525 that is also listed under Reliant Air Charter, according to the FAA registration page.
All registrations with “reliant” in the name.
N717HA photo states is was taken in Ohio on Sept. 29/07, but I haven’t seen it on Flightaware.
N525EZ I’m unsure if it’s around??, and Reliant also had a CJ2 N219FL, which has been reregistered as N971TB, sold after the fire and is now listed as ‘In storage’??
AVN Air is indeed GE Capital. They are a major source of financing in the industry. Here is a linky: cefcorp.com/Aircraft/safe/f … tactUs.asp

Sorry, its N525EZ CJ3 525B-0089
Thank you for the post. I forwarded your post to airport-data.com/ and is appreciated by all.
Very sad loss of aircraft, I note there is a new Cessna Mustang based at Danbury, N827DK, don’t know if it’s at the Reliant Facility, but a nice addition to Danbury.
Hey Wayne, heard Reliant 717 at HPN the other day and it made me happy to know you guys are still at it. Best of luck with all the efforts that go into rebuilding after something like this.
We have N717HA a CJ2 525A-0079 that escaped the fire(it was on a trip)
N904MC B350 King Air S/N FL-44 escaped damage
N28WN Cheyenne IIXL ( was on a trip)
N741JP a 2006 C90GT we just got late November 2007
N971TB is back as 515A-0118, was 525A-0111
We will be back in a new Hangar by June 2007, bigger than ever!!

Is that a Mustang II? Please tell me Cessna isn’t going to make that mistake!
Reliant Air’s construction is underway. A 25,000 sq ft facility is being built. We do not expect to be in there until August this year. You folks trying to track us, you will not find our airplanes here unless you put our company code in- sorry. 525A’s are CJ2’s not Mustangs.
Thanks!
