Looks like both my receivers are on 3.5 now. I thought I had set one not to auto-update. That’s what I wanted until I could look at the new code to see what I wanted to change (mostly colors), so I could have a change ready after an update. Oh, well. I seem to have also lost the ability to change maps.
Both your sites currently have auto-updates enabled. You can check with piaware-config. Note that the ability to do updates (or not) is enforced locally on your piaware, so if you have auto-updates locally disabled then update commands from the FA servers would be ignored even if they were sent (they shouldn’t be sent, but even if they were…).
If you don’t want to allow auto-updates, use piaware-config to disable them.
If you add new layers to layers.js, you should get a layer switcher icon appearing.
Thanks. I have a copy of everything, so I can confirm whether I had auto-update on. I thought I had turned it off, but I apparently was wrong. No big deal, actually. Just surprised. Maybe I had it set to no auto-update and it got reset when I did the most recent manual update, which was performed from the FA website as I recall.
