Well done FlightAware.
Yes, Bias-T support would be nice. As suggested by @geckoVN, to make it fool proof, make it a little ‘harder’ to implement. Something like the user must enter the full line in the config file.

Thank you so much for this Flightaware!!
Is it possible to support the official Raspberry Pi display?
https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-touch-display/
I’m a bit lost here. I’ve never upgraded my Piaware before. My device didn’t upgraded by itself. How can I do it? I am running on a Raspberry Pi 2 B+, and 3.8.1 is running like a charm for 100+ days.
Can someone help me how to get the upgrade packages via command line and upgrade the device, without reflashing it?
Mark, I get the same status results and I would agree with you just no flights… However, if I click on the button to view the UAT skyaware page the browser just sits and spins. I think it should at least display an empty map if there are no results??
It is Raspbian (or Raspberry Pi OS) 64-bit for Pi4, just like I have. It wont upgrsde by commandline/repository. You will have to build package from source code.
Go to your Stats Page
https://flightaware.com/adsb/stats/user/btminzon
Click on the paddle wheel (right hand side)
Pick “upgrade” from the drop-down menu
I attempted to upgrade my install on My ADS B page on Flightaware.com but I get a message: “Sending commands to your device is not available because the feature is disabled locally on your device.”
How can I correct this?
Hey guys the rego and type are not filling, this is also the case when I click on an aircraft none of the information is there. Also where are you going for the cpu info?
@willfisher the CPU and Temperature is at your base screen. Enter the IP address of your Pi on a web page.
I just get 403 forbidden if i type the ip 192.168.0.17
I have a similar problem - no data for distance!
Been trying to get this to work for a few hours. All of a sudden it works just after I post on here!
That’s a great news, thanks for the update Flightaware!!!
I updated in my RBPI3 with success!!!
The only question I have is where I can see the PI Aware Status Page in order to see my CPU status and system Uptime? All the other things is working fine (my dump1090-fa maps and in the Flightaware site show v4).
Best Regards
What’s involved in setting up a LimeSDR mini? It doesn’t seem to be plug and play.
Mark, bingo… Seeing UAT data and light is green. But skyaware978 map still won’t load. Thanks!!
Both dongles are in use, one by dump1090-fa, other by dump978-fa, so the rtl_test command fails to use any, hence the error message.
First stop dump1090-fa and dump978-fa then issue rtl_test command like this:
sudo systemctl stop piaware dump1090-fa dump978-fa
rtl_test -t
sudo systemctl restart piaware dump1090-fa dump978-fa
After upgrading to 4.0 and trying to view the 1090 Skyaware map I get no data on the map. Any suggestions?
Can’t wait to see the temperature of my virtual CPU.
