Anerican Airlines flight 46 diverted to JFK 13/10/2012

I was on this flight, does anyone know why it was diverted to JFK as the pilot didnt say but when we landed there were fire trucks all down the runway waiting for us as wh landed.

Are you serious? They land at JFK instead of ORD and don’t give the slightest hint as to why?

The pilot said nothing but he was burning fuel like crazy with the landing gear down at 400kts

BTW we were a direct flight from ORD to LHR and were diverted to JFK

There were airspeed indicator and altimeter problems after departure from ORD.
