What was the emergency for?
I dont know. I heard it on my scanner. If i heard it right, he talked about the luguage compartement.
Could be a lot of things… Doors came open, Fire. Anything like that…
Might want to see if anything is in the LiveATC feeds for that.
JFK is a superfeed (meaning they cover every sector of the area, from Delivery up to ZNY). You may hear the reasoning there (for ATC Planning purposes). As long as you know the time it took place (UTC), you may be able to find something.
